Yep . . . I’ve still got it

It’s been years—27, to be exact—since I’ve drawn with any regularity, so I wasn’t entirely sure what would happen when pencil met paper again. Apparently, drawing really is a bit like riding a bicycle: you may wobble for the first few minutes, but your hands remember things your brain had politely filed away.

A little rusty, perhaps. But not nearly as rusty as I expected . . .

Which is reassuring.

Some things just wait patiently for you to come back.
